Rachel’s husband, Johannes Lutz, Needs Your Help

On June 15, 2024, our dear friend Rachel’s world was turned upside down when her husband, Johannes Lutz, suffered a massive stroke. Johannes, a retired NYS Corrections Sergeant, is now fighting a brave battle at a stroke rehabilitation facility. The stroke left him partially paralyzed and in need of 24-hour care.

A Growing Family in Need

As if this weren't challenging enough, Rachel is currently pregnant with their first child, expected to arrive on September 13, 2024. With Johannes’ unexpected medical emergency and the impending arrival of their baby, Rachel is faced with the daunting task of navigating a new, complex world of post-stroke care and childcare.
